Amberlee Isabella is an award-winning retail designer, strategist, and entrepreneur living in New York City.

Since 2007, she has been a designer and strategist in Gensler's retail studio delivering innovative design solutions for her clients all over the world. Whether it's a new prototype design, international flagship or pop-up; Amberlee utilizes trends based research and business strategy as the foundation for her creative work across all channels. 

She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Design and Honors program receiving a B.A. of Interior Design. At Kentucky, Amberlee was a founding member and the 2007 Overall Chair of the philanthropy DanceBluea year-long fundraising effort that culminates in a 24-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon for pediatric cancer. In 2017,  DanceBlue celebrated 12 years of dancing with fundraising efforts that have totaled over $11 million for cancer research and family support. In 2017, Amberlee was awarded the The Denomme Spirit of Philanthropy Award  for "advancing the mission of DanceBlue, through excellence in philanthropy and creative fundraising."

In 2012, while at Gensler, Amberlee completed her M.A. in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. She utilizes her graphic and brand strategy capabilities at Gensler to provide insightful brand analysis and solutions for retailers seamlessly across both digital and physical environments. In 2016, she was honored as one of VMSD's Design Dozen celebrating "the best and brightest young designs in retail design" and began teaching at the top ranked New York School of Interior Design. 

Amberlee also enjoys sharing her experiences as a professional by offering guidance and motivation to students and young graduates through mentoring. In 2010, Amberlee spoke at NeoCon with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) on how to land your dream job as well as personal branding. Most recently she was invited back to her alma mater to speak at the University of Kentucky on her experiences as a young professional. In 2014, she was appointed to the University of Kentucky School of Interior Design Advisory Board. Additionally, she is an IIDA student mentor as well as an IIDA NCIDQ prep mentor helping other professionals achieve licensure. Amberlee is a Certified Interior Designer in the state of New York, NCIDQ Certified, a LEED AP ID+C accredited professional and a member of the International Interior Design Association.

Amberlee is founder and creative director behind Amberlee Isabella Home, an e-commerce stationery and home decor brand that has been featured in Macy's, STORY and Chelsea Market. She is also the co-founder and creative director behind Scripted Fragrance, a premium hand made soy candle company designed to celebrate the people, places and things we love most. 

Always by her side you can find Amberlee with her miniature dachshunds, Dixie-Lee and Lillee-Jo. On her nights off you can find her cheering on her beloved University of Kentucky Men's Basketball team!
